I’ve been designing for 10+ years, mostly in software. My focus lies in crafting memorable experiences, prioritizing what’s important, and building a positive team culture.

I’m currently a Senior Product Designer at Zapier. Before that, I led the design team at Venngage as their Director of Product. I shaped the vision, scaled teams, launched high-impact features, and everything in between.

Product/UX work:

Feb 2022 — Product Strategy

Enterprise and team features

Knowing design is a collaborative experience — I analyzed team metrics and behaviors to uncover expansion opportunities within the product. We ended up prioritizing improvements like commenting, permissions, and team upgrade flows.

Onboarding and template recommendations

I designed an end-to-end onboarding experience for Venngage that enables users to create what they want in less time. With personalized template recommendations, they’re no longer browsing through thousands of templates and can jump straight into editing.

Nov 2021 — Product Strategy

Product vision and positioning frameworks

I defined the product vision and prioritized strategic areas for the product roadmap. With the help of the team, we listed the product's core competencies, our competition, and then I packaged it in a way that makes sense.

2018 to 2020 — Product Strategy, Product Management

Scaling business templates for core users

This milestone was a big deal for me because it ended up being the product's core differentiator. We went from designing generic pre-built templates with a lot of "fluff" content to solving real problems for industries ranging from HR, Finance, IT, Healthcare, and more.

Mar 2019 — Product Design

Launching professional icons

Templates were transformed from a monochromatic look to designs that tell stories with powerful use of icons. Years later, in 2019, I supported my team with the first launch of diverse icons covering a broad range of ages, genders, body types, and ethnicities. The feature is a customer favorite!

2018 to 2022 — Speaking

Change management workshops

As the company grew from 8 to 60+ employees, I covered topics such as adopting a user-centered mindset, fostering a positive feedback culture, emphasizing the importance of user flows, and running Google sprints to generate innovative solutions and tackle scaling challenges.

Aug 2017 — Product Design

Brand Designs with 1-click

In just a click, you can customize any template using your logo, brand color palette, and fonts. I experimented with different ways to apply color schemes to a design and landed on a shuffle UX that makes it fun to use.

Oct 2016 — Product Design

Cancellation Interventions

I spent the latter half of 2016 learning how to combat churn and improve user retention. We ditched the exit survey and I designed a cancellation flow with personalized offers based on their use case.

Jan 2016 — Product Design

Pricing & Conversion Flow updates

My first taste of product! I designed the end-to-end experience of the business tier — encouraging customers to convert for higher value features like business templates, priority support & brand kits. I learned a lot about price anchoring, feature comparisons, and designing effective call to actions.

2015 — Graphic Design

Editorial Infographics & Data viz

I began my professional journey as a graphic designer. I made templates for non-designers so they could easily plug in their content. Additionally, I worked with the marketing department and designed a handful of editorial infographics. My work has been featured in:
